ACQUIRED :
Cvetkovic was acquired by the Bombers as a free agent on Oct. 29, 2003.
2005 :
Cvetkovic appeared in all 18 regular season games for the Bombers. His pin-point snaps helped punter Jon Ryan to set a new CFL standard for gross punting average in a season at 50.6 yards a kick. Cvetkovic also finished the season tied for fourth place on the team in special teams tackles with 11 and led all CFL long-snappers in tackles for the third straight season.
2004 :
Cvetkovic played in all 18 regular-season games. He recorded 16 special teams tackles.
2003 :
Cvetkovic joined the club’s practice roster, Oct. 29, 2003 and was then added to the active roster for the 2003 West Division semifinal match-up with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Cvetkovic appeared in three games for the Roughriders in 2003.
2002 :
Cvetkovic played in 18 games for the Riders in his rookie season of 2002. He recorded three special teams tackles.
COLLEGE CAREER :
Cvetkovic played five years of college football for the Concordia Stingers. A college slotback, Cvetkovic led the Stingers with 23 receptions for 396 yards and two touchdowns in his final season, a year in which he was also a team captain.
PERSONAL :
Cvetkovic and longtime friend Phil Gibson, a defensive lineman with the Montreal Alouettes, launched the Gibson Cvetkovic Football for youngsters in their hometown of Burlington, Ont. in 2005. Cvetkovic currently resides in Winnipeg year-round and spent this past off-season contributing to the Blue Bombers’ community programs.
